-Attention Seniors: You need to pay any outstanding library fines and/or return any overdue library books in order to purchase Prom tickets and to walk in graduation. Stop by the library to see if you owe anything. Take care of this now and avoid last minute hassles necessary for handling your responsibilities.
-SCW JUNIORS AND SENIORS! - We will be hosting our SCW Prom on Saturday, April 20th from 6:30pm-10pm at Water’s Edge Banquet Center in St. Peters, MO. Tickets are available for purchase in the finance office for all Seniors and Juniors and their guests through Wednesday, April 17th at 2pm (or until capacity has been reached). Please see the linked flier below for additional information regarding this year's event: 2024 Prom Information If you have any questions, please reach out to Ms. Lake or Mrs. McLaughlin!
-Attention SCW Students: Are you interested in hosting an Irish student next fall? Our sister cities in Ireland have a number of students wanting to come to the United States for about 10 days in October. Host family students have priority to go on the exchange to Ireland over spring break. By hosting an exchange student, you can build a friendship for life and experience the culture and beauty of Ireland. Please fill out this form If you have any questions, contact Julie Spies at jspies@stcharlessd.org
-Women's History Month t-shirts are now on sale! There's a new design and new colors, but you still have short-sleeve, long-sleeve, and hoodie options. Click HERE to see the design and get the link for ordering! Orders close Sunday, MARCH 24th.
-Attention all SCW students: If you have a vacation planned during the school year, you will need to stop by the Attendance Office to get a vacation form from Mrs. Regot. This form requires signatures from all of your teachers and your principal, so please plan accordingly.
-Attention all Junior and Senior students: If you plan to visit a college during school hours please stop by the Attendance Office and get a college visit form from Mrs. Regot. This form should be turned in to the Attendance Office 2 days prior to your college visit AND requires signatures from all of your teachers, your principal AND your parent/guardian, so please plan accordingly.
-Attention ALL SCW drivers: Please be sure you have a parking pass visible in your car! We will be checking for parking passes regularly and will sticker those cars on our lot without a pass. If you do not have a parking pass yet, see Mrs. Meyer in the Finance Office before school, during AIP (with a pass from teacher), during lunch or after school (no later than 3pm). You may also purchase a parking pass online through MySchoolBucks: MySchoolBucks The cost for a full year pass is $50. You will need a completed parking permit application, valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance and your license plate number. All fees/fines need to be taken care of prior to purchasing your pass.
-ALL SCW students: As a reminder, the rear driveway behind Monroe Elementary and Jefferson Intermediate is NOT to be used as an EXIT during or after school. Students and teachers at those schools who are outside for recess or gym class for everyone's safety do not need worry about speeding cars from students or parents.
-ALL SCW students: As a reminder, restroom stalls are for individual use only. Any students not adhering to this expectation will be subject to an office referral for not following directions.

Classroom News
-SCW students & staff: 2nd semester Homework Academy is held after school from 2:30pm - 4pm in the library and will be held on most Tuesdays & Thursdays for the remainder of the semester.
-Library Visit Procedures: Students, if you want to work the entire block in the library during AIP, you should ask Ms. Gates to add you to the AIP list PRIOR to AIP. If you just need to print/checkout a book (typically takes less than 10 min), you can travel to the library on an eHall pass. If you think you will need to stay longer than the 10 minutes to complete your task, you should ask Ms. Gates to end your pass and you can create a new one when you are ready to leave the library.
-To visit the library any other time of the day (except during your lunch shift), you need an eHall pass from your teacher and your teacher should call before sending you to verify that Ms. Gates is available to supervise.
***SCW Students: The Learning Lab may be used for any student who needs additional help with their work or taking tests. Please make sure to request Learning Lab time at least 15 MINUTES PRIOR to when it is needed in order to make sure it can be staffed. During Blocks 2A and 2B we will need to have additional staff help cover the learning lab so PLEASE make sure to notify us 15 minutes prior to the start of those blocks. The Learning Lab is CLOSED during 1ST LUNCH, so please keep that in mind when scheduling your time. Thank you!
