        Coverdell Clinic Guidelines

Clinic Guidelines:
-The nurse must have a way of reaching parents during school hours at all times. Please keep the office updated with any changes in emergency contact information.

-Any child with a constant cough, vomiting, diarrhea, contagious disease or fever over 100 degrees should not be sent to school. Your child must be fever free for 24 hours (after the last instance) without the use of fever reducing medication (Tylenol, Motrin, etc.) before returning to school.
-Keeping an extra set of clothing in the backpack is essential in the event of accidents (cafeteria, mud, or bathroom). Remember these can occur in kindergarten through 4th grade.
-Do not send medication on the bus. All medication drop offs must be pre-arranged with the nurse.
-Please ensure that your child wears/brings weather appropriate clothing. All children will go out to recess unless there is a physician order and/or parent note to remain inside.
-No outside food is to be brought in by students for parties, birthdays, etc. Party treats may be purchased through Chartwells.
