Building Trades students sign agreements with Builder's Bloc
On Tuesday, May 10th, 8 students from the Lewis & Clark Career Center signed a carpenters' union apprenticeship with Builder's Bloc, a 50-plus crew construction company based in Chesterfield, MO. The 4-year apprenticeship allows students to transition immediately into the workforce following graduation and provides them with guidance and continuing education in the field of building trades. Once completed, the students are given the title of journeymen, wherein they can continue to work for Builder's Bloc or move to another company if they so chose.
