Nurse Hotline
MUSIC's 24/7 Nurse Hotline Help is just a phone call away! Call 1-833-214-3308
MUSIC's 24/7 Nurse Hotline provides instant access to a registered nurse for employees who experience a workplace injury. Available anytime-day or night-this service ensures that injured workers receive timely medical guidance, helping them make informed decisions about their care.
How It Works:
- Call 1-833-214-3308 immediately after an injury occurs.
- A registered nurse will assess the situation, offer self-care instructions, refer to a medical provider if needed, or direct emergency care.
- The nurse will collect essential details, including the employee's school and job title.
- A First Report of Injury is automatically submitted to the Member's Workers' Compensation Coordinator and to MUSIC for claims processing.
Key Benefits:
- 24/7 access to professional medical advice.
- Reduced unnecessary ER visits and healthcare costs.
- Timely and accurate injury reporting.

Work-Related Injury Procedures
In the event of a work-related injury, please follow these procedures:
- When a work-related injury occurs, immediately report it to your supervisor (buildings should report to their principal and nurse).
- Day time employees report to your principal (immediate supervisor) and nurse at your building.
- If your supervisor is not available and you are maintenance staff, please contact Scott Bennett or Karen Hollander to report your injury (636-443-4880).
- Evening custodians contact Scott Bennett in an emergency, or report injury to your supervisor the next day at work.
- Fill out an “Employee Accident Report” and submit it to Laura Evans. “Employee Accident Report” must be completed even if no treatment is necessary at the time of the accident.
- After the injury is reported, the employee and the supervisor will determine what action should be taken: whether there will be treatment of the injury/illness at the (1) building level, (2) The Bridge Health Center, (3) Concentra Urgent Care or (4) The Emergency Room.
- If it is determined that you need clinic medical care during day-time hours, your supervisor will authorize you to go to either:
The Bridge Health Center

St. Charles, MO 63301

Concentra Urgent Care
1794 Zumbehl Road
St. Charles, MO 63303
Monday – Friday (8:00am – 5:00pm)
636-947-1666
Before going, your supervisor will give you a treatment authorization form that must be taken with you.
- If there is a severe injury, this is true for day-time or evening hours that needs immediate medical attention, go to St. Joseph’s Hospital Emergency Room. (In severe circumstances call 911.) Please turn in a copy of any paperwork related to your doctor/hospital visit to your supervisor, who will forward to the Business Office.
- If it is determined that you need clinic medical care during day-time hours, your supervisor will authorize you to go to either:
- With any other questions about work related injuries please feel free to call Laura Evans at 636-443-4006.
